We're excited to be turning a new leaf in our garden area at Grandiflora. After years of struggling to find the best way to utilize the garden to its fullest potential, we decided to take a different approach and create a soothing space for you, our customers. Instead of a retail space, we've created a lounge setting with tables, chairs and benches where you can better appreciate our historic setting. Enjoy features like Italian wrought iron, the trickling waterfall, dappled sunlight and birdsong. It's a great place for locals to take their lunch break or travelers to stretch their legs and unwind. It's also a great place to park your husband while you shop. ;)
We also felt that the garden was a great space for promoting local artisans, antique dealers, and farmers or food vendors that complement our aesthetic. Similar to a farmers market, we want to help promote local start up businesses and their craft. We look forward to sharing with you our hand-picked selection of pop-up shops that will occupy our charming white tent this summer. Stay tuned for information on how to procure a spot in our vendor list. We also look forward to using this space for classes, evening events like Bunco nights and open houses.
We must warn you that the majority of the items in the garden will not be for sale. However, to accommodate those of you who still want to shop for garden decor, we've kept a few of our favorite garden accessories for your shopping pleasure. They will be clearly marked.
As you can imagine, this is a big change for us. We look forward to all of the excitement it brings. This summer is a trial run and we hope it grows into something big! The next time you visit us, please take a moment to relax in our garden.
